GMO free is the category given to organic food. Again, the same logic followed on resistance, the use of GMOs influence resistant strains further. It is tampering with nature as resistance is induced instead of occurring naturally. The alteration is done in ways that is not happening in natural or traditional crossbreeding.
With consistent use of GMOs, consumers likewise carry over the resistance and may have a harder time using antibiotics later on when they get sick as their levels of response to antibiotics is not higher than what’s considered normal.
